British Rail Class 26

The British Rail Class 26 locomotives, known as BRCW  Type 2′s were built between 1958 and 1959 by the Birmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon Company. A total of 47 were built on the basis of providing a small diesel electric locomotive  under British Rail’s Modernisation Plan.

20/12 - This Xmas is cause for celebration within the B.D.L.P.G. We are pleased to announce the purchase of our first locomotive, with the transaction of money completed early this week.
