Membership to the B.D.L.P.G. offers several brillaint opportunities as well as being able to help out and work on the group’s acquistions and rolling stock. You will experience a great opportunity of being able to take part in group monthly meetings and AGM’s which is the main focus and a chance for you, our members to voice any concerns or queries you may have. As well as giving an input into the group, you will also experience a chance of working on projects within the group. This will vary from maintenance of the stock or perhaps helping out on the travelling trade stall as an active member, giving a talk to the general public and helping gain people’s trust.

As members, you will be the first to know regarding latest developments and news that concern the group and will have an active part in deciding the next stages of the group via a ballot vote. Not only that, you will also recieve our bi-monthly newsletter ” The B.D.L.P.G Bulletin” which will contain indepth news, monthly chairman reports and much much more.

The money raised through donations and membership WILL be ploughed back into projects that concern the group, from loco restoration or towards purchasing more equipment for members.

For 2012, we are keeping our membership prices at the same level as it has been for the past year as we know how difficult the economic outlook is at the moment. You will recieve membership to the group, a welcome pack containing a keyring and pen and also the Group Newsletters. All prices below are per annum, and are payable in full amount or if you really wanted too…£1 a month untill you reach your limit set.
